Hey all........this is my first time i post here, so be gentle ....lol

I got 2 questions,

First one: How can I edit items or were can I find a download were I can edit items.

Second: Does anyone have real cool pictures (or a link 2 these pictures) of an Archer (or a ranger.......preferably one with a bow)

www.teambg.com provides a tool called IEEP (Infinity Engine Editor Pro) and tutorials about item editing. you can find many portraits at www.kirith.com or other sites which are btw listed in the sticky thread: "The BG reference crossroads"

About the portraits.......i allready checked those sites, but there wasnt a good portrait 4 me, i just hoped that someone else would have very good portraits here.

And the creating items issue......well that goes a bit above my head, cause this is a bit 2 hard 4 me.

try reading Bonnie's Guide to creating custom items for Baldur's Gate 1 & 2.. that might be a bit more user firendly..

Hey all.

Were can I find the directory in which all the portraits are?
And then I mean the portraits of Cernd or Anomen or Edwin and not the ones I’ve downloaded

So don’t tell me they r in the portraits directory cause they are not there.
I’ve search everything but I can’t seem 2 find them.

(I am using a custom portrait 2 use it as my main one and I am using a different portrait as a small one)

iF I understand correctly they are in the .bif files but even if they aren't you can use the near infinity program which can be download from teambg's site - this program shows you all the gamefiles by type (2da, spl, itm...) and all the portraits are in the BMP folder.
