fooled around with the "scrlzz" item, this created the "summon cow"spell, and i was amazed you could write in your spell book!!! cast on immie, she and jahira took about 30 damage each. no graphics, no cows, cast on myslef, I made the save and took no damage.

tried to search for this in search forum, but "cow" is below the 4 character limit in the search engine.

what the heck is this spell???

what does it do???

oh, btw, my kensai, druid cleric wilmage is doing great!!!finally get to have a temple stronghold!!!

hmm... the spell does 1d30 piercing dmg up to range of 60, a cool ring of the ram type effect :)
but cows should cause blunt (Image Image ) dmg IMO :D :D :D

are you sure you did a save vs the dmg, it's seems that this spell has no saves but MR still works.

The Summon Cow scroll is actually a left-over from BG1. In that game, if you cast the spell, it would play the Cloakwood movie and then drop a cow on your target. :D If you use the console to set the wild surge number to 88, you'll see what it looked like.

I remember the cloakwood movie and the wild surge thing really drops a cow but according to the .spl files it does damage... maybe there's a different .spl for the wildmage spell?

More than likely - I haven't really looked at how the surge effects are handled.
