i know this is overdone, but it is really alarming: RESTING PROBLEM!!! (tiny spoiler)

heeeeeelp meeeeeeee! i am trying to build up my elven assasin, and am just about to get the guild (just gotta kill mae'var) but when i rest (going into the first dream sequence) the game goes to the loading screen, crashes, exits to the desktop and says runtime error! i probably cant fix this, cause i have absolutely no idea how to do anything technical whatsoever! (ie. i dont know where to go to do the thing that starts the other thing

but is there any EXTREMELY SIMPLE WAY to bypass dream sequences, cause this is the only time this happens.
