I only registered on these boards yesterday. A question:

1) Does anyone have any good websites for those custom avatars?

2) How do I get a custom avatar?

Welcome, @Tanis. Now, do you mean the avatars under your name, on the left side of the screen?

I trust you're not asking about the large signature avatars people use on some other boards.

Simple

1) You click on the "user cp" button on top of your page (somewhere in the middle of the page)

2) On the next page you click on "edit options" .

3) Near the end of the next page is a Button labeled "Change Avatar".
Just follow the signs

4)Last and most important: Learn how to read the "f.a.q." section ....

You are correct! I am amazed at the audacity of the Tribune Company. They have been in a heated battle with the city and the rooftop owners over expanding the park. The want to expand over the sidewalk, which the city needs to approve. So, in order to tweak the rooftop owners, the put up plastic on the fences....

An exec of the Cubs was quoted as saying....since Sept 11, we have been discussing this need. We have over 1000 people on those rooftops, and we cannot guarantee the safety of our fans our players. It's a disgrace to use 911 as an excuse.
