subscribing to threads

I am now subscribed to the One Word Stroy thread, but I don't know how or why or what that means...what's subscribing all about, and if I need to, how do I undo it?

Subscribing to a thread means that each time a new reply has been posted you will be notified via email. You can also subscribe to a forum if you what to be notified for every new post/thread.
I believe there is a limitation though for the e-mail notifications, you only get the 2 first reply until you visit the forum again. As of how to undo it try user cp.

I've subscribed to the tech support forum, but haven't recieved any notification from it.
@mods or Buck - everything is working, right?
