can someone please track down a genuine Waverly Flame to show me? I have heard so much about them, but my curiosity is getting too much for me...it seems as if noone dares slag him off properly anymore, and as soon as a bashful newbie comes in full of hopes of insulting W's parents etc he is pummeled with terrifying cryptic anecdotes of Waverly's viscous nature and incredible ferocity until all the fights out of him... :rolleyes: it's just not fair!

I agree, froggy. I've never seen him flame anyone. It's like he's the great and powerful wizard of Oz.

IMO, Minerva is the best flamer around.

Same here, I haven't seen a good flame since I entered the forum... :)

No worries,

Beldin :cool:

Excuse me, folks, if I don’t hop and jump like your obedient servant or trained attack animal. My most recent flame was directed at young Aegis, but I’m not even sure he noticed it. Sometimes subtlety is the cruelest muse. Do a search for ‘Gasie’.

Don't worry, I caught it. It was too subtle to really be insulting though.

You all realize that now Foul and Weasel will be upset. As far as I know, neither have been bestowed with such a title.....

Hmm...I used to think that people get flamed by Waverly for sucking up to him....

Perhaps I've been out of here for too long..... :(

Hi Brink :)

I agree with Waverly. Why should he bother to waste words on those who haven't proven themselves worthy? I'm sure he has better things to do than to jump when someone mentions his name (unless it's Minerva).

No, they still do, unless they're female of course, in which case they can get away with flaming him and he just flirts ;)

Hi Brink :D Is there such a thing as being away from SYM for too long? ;)

Hiya T'lainya.How are ya? :)

Since when did you have to be worthy of a 'flame' from Waverly?I'd always thought that his flaming comes and goes like a passing breeze by the seaside?

@Georgi-Hiya :) .Well, I think not being able to check in here daily is considered being 'away from SYM for too long' :p

What's that, Brink? You are going to have to speak up.

Georgi and Lainy are on to me... I do have a weakness for the ladies, but my patience is not infinite. ;)

@Waverly-I'm sorry, but I can't think of a good reply to that :rolleyes: :p

@T'lainya-School's out, I'm in college now :) (college chic(k)s beware, for I have learned my lessons from Waverly well, and I'm not afraid to use them.... :D )

Although it does tend to be better on a general level, for health both physical and mental :D

Wow Brink, you're honoured... looks like you'll always be worthy of a flame from Waverly ;)

Sweet :) .

@frogus-See, you don't have to suck up to Waverly to get flamed by him, so don't try too hard at that :p .

My apologies for the double post

@T'lainya-Oh, did I forget to mention that I'll be using Waverly's 'after-hours' lessons(you know, the one he usually gives 'behind-the-scenes' ;) :eek: :p ) ?

@Xandax-Hiya buddy ;) .I'm doing great here, what about you? Still the king of lurkers? :p

@Georgi-Not really(see above ;) )....
