I've gotten the mod for Tashia and having a great time with it so far, but i was wondering if there are any quests set off by her? Also, haven't got him yet, but same question goes for when i get Solufein(sp?).
Thankies

Perhaps you could explain what mod you are referring to, and where it is located? ;)

I've just recently started the Tashia mod, but I think there's actually a fairly sizeable quest associated with it. Sorry, I don't have any details on it yet, but the rest of the mod looks very well put together.

That's always a bonus.

How is it for typing errors and the like.

Sola comes with lots of quests.
I have to try that Tashia, but I think the ToB section is not ready,
yet.
Further, I have no room for her in my party!!!
Maybe I could drop Haer' Dalis for a elven lady...
Quite the gain......

Sola NPC and quest was very neat. I liked it and I'm sure you will too.

Haer Dalis, I only tried once and I didn't like him, GIRLFRIEND SNATCHER!

Will try Tashia on my next run. Not sure if ToB supports Sola and Tasia, my saved game crashed when exported.

fan i just put up with that greasy, stinky tiefling for 40 game days, ick, need shower...just to see the aerie haer dalis romance triangle, but at day 30 or so, aerie said she had feelings for me and the confrontation never happed. did this happen to you? anyway, dumped him to make room for lawful good korgy, and finally washed off the brimstone aftershave smell all tieflings from the abyssal plane seem to wear. how aerie stood it, I'll never know, and she was the biggest complainer about the stinky gong from the gong quest...

so how did the triangle confrontation play out??

@User

I am saying this from memory, since I didn't take him into my party after the first incident. Aerie and I had an ongoing relationship before I rescued that ingrate from the bunch of wizards in the sewers. That was about my 3rd or 4th run through of the game. And the only reason I took him then was that I was finally convinced by him that his sword skills was better than Drizzt. Suckered me!!! :(

Guess I was taken in by the asswipe wuss coz I had to take him to the temple to be resurrected countless times and with AC and Thaco worse than Aerie (my love) to boot! Then one fine day, he challenged me for Aerie and being the lawful good gentleman that I was, I declined to whip his shiny one. Big time mistake, because Aerie then took off with him and I could never find her again!

Even after that incident, I don't hate bards or get angry, no siree, I get even. I enjoy freeing him, taking him in and killing him myself ever so slowly. Reload, and make Aerie kill him, for good measure. Reload with Drizzt as an NPC, and make Drizzt kill him. Reload, have Anomen kill him, then kill Anomen.

Life is good.

there is a quest with that tashia mod.. i wont give anything away but I will say it is Crazyily hard... I did it just after getting the lanthorn and still had to reload once or twice, although the rewards are way over the top now I mean im not one to complain when you get good booty for a hard fight but its just crazy loot

There is another Kelsey NPC mod by JCompton mentioned in a thread in this forum as well. It might be worth your while to take a look.

Believe me, it's good. :)

Since it's mentioned here now, here's the link:

http://www.forgottenwars.net/kelsey/

And to be fair, I didn't work alone. I was mostly the "prose guy." Ghreyfain (Jesse Meyers) deserves the credit for Kelsey's technical implementation.

Oh, and to answer the original question of the thread: Kelsey comes with a mini-quest that revolves around being hunted by an evil sorceress. But for extra quests, Solaufein is by far the market leader.

fan the funnest way to kill an npc is to bring him into party, and save one of the mind control collars from astral prison, and have the npc equipp it. turns party hostile to him, and basically everyone wipes the floor with him...

another fun way is to have him walk into room sized spike trap in spell hold... crunch!!!

or, have party in one room in spell hol, lv 2, and pc and bards in another room.... rest, and you will slayer transform, and will tear him up into little pieces...

send him with only minor spell turning into beholder rooms, watch it get worn down to nothing in 6 or so rays, and can you say statue???

still, deployable dragon bait is my fav...
