You can kick her out of the party and after ask her to rejoin without ruining your romance?
I'm playng a kensai to be dualled to mage, and when I dual I want to kick out everybody so to gain levels while learning all the spells I have, but I don't want to ruin my romance.

I don't know about SoA, but with ToB, you can temporarily kick out Anomen, Viconia, or Aerie without terminating the romance, providing the romance has not yet reached the committed stage, and your romance interest is kicked out of the party for less than three days.
