Tell me it is not true!

What has happened I always thought that the barbarian could wear Dragon scale, I just finished getting it made and he can not wear it. Has it always been like this or is it some Kind of bug. 
PLease let me know if this is true or not.

Depends which dragon scale you are talking about. They can wear black and white.

I think he's talking about Red Dragon scale.
No, barbarians cannot wear this because it counts as plate mail.

Yes I was talking about red dragons. And what a real downer. I thought I was going to be a cool pimped out Barbarian but guess not. Time to put it on e-bay.

There is no "green dragon" in the game (you can check via Shadow Keepers creature browser). Now as to what color THAT dragon is, I have no idea, but Black sounds as good an answer as any.

try making minsc into archer...really a good idea, and you find out the only armor he can wear until tob is black dragon scale...
grandmasters armor...thought it was plate, high enough for plate, like -1 or so...
ice dragon armor...
i think the barbi has same limitations...
why pick barbi andyway??
sorry, its been shown in the past in this forum the barbi kit enrage does not protect against imprisonment,...minsc has been imprisoned before...
darn!!! forgot to test minsc imprisonment to see for myself...grrr...
berserker kit is supreme meelee master, and a good exploit is to get grandmastery in axes or hammers, if dwarf, and get ranged hammers and axes...if youre good, azuredge and rifthome axes and dwarven throwers are really killer ranged weapons...str bonus too, so you can serioulsy flatten targets...

In SoA, there are Red (Windspear Hill), Shadow (Shadow Temple-Umar Hill), Black (Elven City), Silver (Underdark) and Green (the Hell) Dragons. Only Red and Shadow dragons' scales can be made into armours.

That dragon was gold/metallic... is the color generated randomly or what???
