I encountered a bug where Haer'Dalis, when he joins at lvl 15, has hardly any pickpocketabilities and no spellslots. This makes him even more useless than normal.
There's a bugfix for this at Baldurdash (of course). I downloaded it into the overide folder but nothing changes. Odds are I'm being stupid again but for the life of me, I can't see what I'm forgetting or doing wrong...

For the file to work, you need to load a save game before you get Haer'Dalis to join the part. The file changes his CRE file, which is when he is still out of the party, once he join his files changes to a CHR file - I think. Also, did you unzip the file you downloaded and put the CRE file into the Override folder?

It does sound like a bug, but HD can use dwarven thrower, it's not much but still
