2 hits from the Ring of the Ram wont kill anyone much less a lich, Max damage 30, 30 * 2 = 60.

60 < everyone worth anything in SoA

Only problem, you're not supposed to have TWO rings of the ram.
I think that baldurdash fixes it.

Only if you pickpocket before the planar sphere

which is taking advantage of a bug =/ If your going to do that might as well shadow keep yourself 6, and while your at it 6 simacurl helmets for a total of 12 rings of the ram!

=/

I had 2 odd bugs caused by lag... the 1st one is having 5-6 rings of ram at the end of soa as a result of keeping ram rings in gem bags. the 2nd bug is what my friend called "bag of infinite wands" :D :D :D - the name says it all!!! I take a wand from the bag of holding but the wand is still in there

GNGSpam: reread what I typed. 3 hits. And Im talking about kangaxx's true form. not any lich.

first of all, the ring of the ram is not a "one of a kind" item such as the
Gauntlets of Ogre Power. therefore it is not cheating if you can obtain more then one by means such as pickpocketing.

when I said 3 hits to kill kangaxx, I meant his true form. who ever talks
about his lich form.

advantages: no need for specific characters using any high enchantment weapons. you can use any of your characters.

I've only gone through BG1 to TOB half a dozen times.

now ask me how i kill irenicus in hell using just anomen.

How about no since I doubt id be impressed.

Pickpocketing and then recieving it is, in essence, "cheating". Its obvious, the ring you pickpocket is supposedly the one you recieve when he dies. It was a glitch in design that it shows back up when he dies. He doesnt have two and takes one off before going to the planar sphere. You are taking advantage of this. This is called "abuse" "cheese" or any number of other things.

This is also an obvious fact

i think you would be impressed, but whatever :)

and dont excuse yourself for misreading and thinking you know everything and all, I'd think you were decent.

so he had one ring of the ram, and i stole it. since he wears it, its probably one of his favorate rings, he's an established mage, he could probably get another one. its not one of a kind.

you don't have to agree. it doesnt bother me.

you dont want to use 2 rings of the ram? then use one + 2 simulacrum.
but that was too ovious, maybe not.
