I don't know if anyone has discovered this before, so I'll post it anyway. You know how if you're in a town and you want to rest outside you get woken up by guards all the time? Just pause the game before pressing the "Rest" button, and when the guard wakes you up he'll be unable to talk to you as the game will still be paused. Just hit "Rest" again without unpausing, and since the guard hasn't yet and can't tell you off you'll be sleeping like a baby in no time.

or u can just stand in a corner where they can't see u
