I think I have settled on this.
Argonain
Muck Runner
Birthsign : The Tower
Stats [ Int / Spd ]
Spec [ Unarmored ]
Major
1. Hand to hand
2. Security
3. Acrobatics
4. Atheletics
5. Sneak
Minor
1. Alchemy
2. Alteration
3. Mysticism
4. Illusion
5. Restoration
What do you think? Will probably be quite a challenge, but he won't be dependant on armor or weapons, which I can sell for spell research.
I think he is geared towards exploration... all the nooks and crannys, seedy alleyways, and hard to reach rooftops. He is sufficient in providing himself with alchemedical and restorative magics, and able to get out of binds with a quick invis or portation.
He does not tend to kill to get his way, but will pummel a passerby who has stumbled unto something they should not have.
Hmm, thats about it. Just wasting time until tomorrow.

How do you mean? This looks like a well-optimized character who should have a mix of thieving and magical skills, focusing on speed rather than strength, and able to sell weapons and armor for other goods.

You mean basically that you have to choose a "school" of disciplines for a spec. rather than just one skill?
Could be. I am just going on some info from another website. If so, I will take out one of my minor skills and put sneak there.

Sound like a darker version of my little leezard. Tell you what. You plunder the north part of Imperial City and I will plunder the south.

looks like a fine thief with a bit of magic mixed in, what's your aim for that charachter? iduno how usefull the armorer skill is yet so i'm just going off a hunch but i'm gonna guess for most thiefs it isn't too needed and would think about putting mercantile or speechcraft or some other good thiefly or mage skills in place of armorer depending on which way you want to sway more, being able to buy things pretty cheaper would be usefull i'd imagine but iduno maybe armorer is a highly usefull skill, would imagine it be more usefull for the warrior constantly battling though
just my 1 cent (i'm keepin the other one, it's mine damnit!)

erm i'm not sure i understand what you mean, or you understand what i mean, i was talking about specilization, it was my belief that you were to pick a general school as ur specialization such as magic combat or stealth depending on what you wanted to be your main school of training, i was in no means knocking his monk idea, seemed like a very solid monk to me, will be one of the good magical religious types, a blast to role play i'm sure...

oh and i just remembered something, khajitt have natural claws that can be of very damaging as i understood it, might wanna look into that for your monk for using no weapons, plus that +15 acrobatics they get would be great for the exploring you speak of, getting to places others cant plotting your own trails and finding you own way etc just an idea

Thats a good point,
Armorer i was thinking might be good for fixing my armor but i suppose i shouldnt be scratching it up anyhow.
I replaced Illusion with Alchemy, healing potions and +stat potions sound pleasent. Any idea if those changes to stats are permanent?
I'm thinking about replacing Armorer with Speechcraft either that or i'll use the blank spot to bring Illusion back. Maybe i can put in Hand-to-Hand for the early levels when i might not neccesarily have a short blade.
Again any feedback is more than welcome

i imagine you'll have a shortblade at short levels without problem - that's what the stealing abilities are for
but could by one still i'm sure even at first level
though one thing about illusion fabled pointed out in another thread is that illusion has some neat abilities like blind and silence 'n such, but they're mostly all higher level stuff, and alchemy is a good choice i think, the ability to make potions of all different sorts has to be usefull and beyond useful - at a lot more gameplay to the game with the searching out rare this or that plants to make magical potions or what not

Thanks again replaced Illusion with Speechcraft. Assuming i dont notice a giant problem with my character im done with him.....until i get the game i mean. now i just decide between Male and Female, I'm leaning towards male. Dont really want to risk being turned on by some Catwoman....mmmm Catwoman

Rare,
Very interesting combo. I like it. However, you _will_ have to choose either Magic, Combat or Stealth for your Specialty, not a normal skill like "unarmored." I would suggest taking out Acrobatics (this is based on strength anyway and can be increased by jumping) and substituting Unarmored for it.

Just remember, minor skills are really, truly minor, which means you have nearly zip chances of developing them significantly during the game. A minor skill may develop ten levels, but it will still, at the end of that time, lag significantly below what your primary and major skills were to start with.
So build a coherent character whose skills mesh with one another when you're looking at primaries and majors. Don't stick in something that stands out, like enchanting, if you're planning to run a fighter and/or thief type.
That said, the game is certainly winnable by just about any combination of skills, if you give yourself enough time, and strategize.

I don't know fable, I found even miscellaneous skills not too terribly hard to raise with practice, and minor skills on my Crusader to be even better. I for one, based on my observations, think that you'll be able to very significantly increase the minor over the course of the game, to a very high level, if not maxed. Sort of believe the same with Misc.
Example: Mercantile was a misc skill and it was increasing at an incredible rate for how much I used the barter/haggle option. In fact it was based on Personality and my personality was only 30. From this, I gather that some skills will be inherently easier to develop than others... and even if they're in the same category (major, minor or misc) and have the same score for the governing attribute (as in Intelligence), different skills won't increase at the same 1:1 per use ratio.
Just realized how geeky that sounds.

Rare,
my opinion is that it looks great but you might want to pick some type of armor as a skill (Heavy,Medium,Light) and might not want to have quite so many different magic things.
Also, at least to my mind, Marksman could be exceddingly useful. You could climb somewhere a NPC cant reach and let loose with a volley of arrows.
Outside of topic now,
Anyone ever played Zelda Ocarina of Time? Somehow i imagine this game to be like a far better Zelda OOT. I remember going to the thieves stone castle thing and shooting them and i remember climbing on some roof tops and shooting down flying birds. Anyhow, cant wait for Morrowind for my X-Box.
