Shadow vs Red Dragon

Yeah, I know you're gonna kill me for saying this but, Firkraag is the toughest of the two. At least, according to the game itself.

I made sure it was the same character who got both of the kills, and Firkraag erased the Shadow Dragon. (in chapter 2, did both of the quests in a row)

But Thaxll'ssyllia (sp?) might of course have erased Firkraag if I had killed Firkraag first.

Firkraag is more powerful, in fact you gain more exp. points when you kill him.

There was a topic in BGD where they discussed which one was the most powerful dragon, and a lot of ppl said that the Shadow dragon was more powerful.

Well, almost all of Firkraag's vital stats are better than those of the Shadow Dragon (HP, resistances, THAC0)

How can anyone be tougher than Firkraag when Firkraag is the toughest enemy in the game?
At least that's what I, and another zillion people with me, think.

In BGDungeon, there was a topic where a guy asked which dragon was the toughest, and it was even more people that said Thaxll'ssyllia was tougher than Firkraag than the vice versa (I think, if it wasn't more it was about 50/50% (not counting the other 2 dragon's then)).

No way! Thax'ssyllia is EZ!
Of course, it depends on when you fight them.
BTW, there is a total of 5 dragons in BG2.

Yeah, I forgot the black one.

I thought Thaxll'ssyllia (there was at least one l before the ' I think) was easier too, most of my damage on it was physical, on Firkraag I had to use a lot more magic.

Thaxll'ssillyia

Damn, couldn't they have come up with easier names?

Well, it does sound "Shadow Dragonishlike" at least.

There's really no comparison Thaxll'ssillyia and Firkraag. The latter is much tougher, although the former does have the advantage of the unpronounceable Welsh-style name.

Thaxll'ssillyia is definetly not Welsh.

The hardest dragon in the game is probably Nizidramanii'yt, but since you meet him so late in the game, you're already of a high level, making him a cinch.

That's the Black dragon right?

Yeah he can make your life really difficult if he manages to cast insect plague on your spell casters...

Oh, but he was, on his mother's side. They're the ones who came over in '75, and setup a dellicatessen on Main Street--you know, the one with the green and puce awning that made you turn green, in turn, everytime you saw it.

Just remember this is Betty Llewellyn-Thaxll'ssillyia's kid we're talking about, and yes, he sang a good baritone.

Too true, a Welsh words pronounciation usually involves a lot more hacking and spitting.

I never fought the Silver Dragon. Is she tough? Or is she like that whossy green dragon?
