Again guys, spam is not needed. Take it to SYM.

As for the familiars and animal companions, here is the current list of what we know:
  • Badger
  • Bat
  • Brown Bear
  • Boar
  • Dire Wolf
  • Fire mephit
  • Giant Spider
  • Hawk
  • Hell Hound
  • Ice mephit
  • Imp
  • Pixie
  • Raven
  • Wolf

Looking at some of the screenshots it looked like characters were accompanied by huge animals. For example a tiger rather than a cat. I read something once about upgrading familiars, there was one type that made the familiar useful as a mage one that made it useful as a fighter. Does this exist in neverwinter nights, any ideas?

my posts are not meaningless and have at least a little to do with the post i said badgers becase i knew badgers were in the game then some one said the wolf's thing came up and i had to defend my self

(to make it revlent)

what happens if familers die is it like BG2 and you lose con points

If it gets the "master bonus" as according to what I've seen - a toad is a nice "powergamer" familiar.

+2 con. bonus - not bad :)

badgers killing a balor

that got me thinking

do familiers level up

that way you could get a pretty mean badger

Familiars level up as the owner level ups. When you get stronger, they get stronger...
