A Kensia?thief with fighter abilities??

I was wondering, when i dual my kensai to a thief, when will i get back all of my wonderfull kensai abilities, and 5* in katana??? 
When your thief level surpasses the level of your Kensai. If you dualed at level 9, when your thief got to level 10 you would get the abilities back.
