I just found bunch of raw glass and raw ebony (or something similar). The game manual says that i can add this to a weapon but i don't know how. I cannot find any people who will make the weapon for me. Maybee I need a full soulgem or something. :(

hmm i would persume you may need to check out some blacksmiths or magicical black smiths that can forge those kind of materials into your sword.

I dont have the game yet but i would persume that would be the case, but in morrowind you just never know.

My idea would be to buy some Armorer's Hammers and then equip them and try to somehow use them with the glass, or equip the glass or something...seems like it should work tho if you equip the hammer and then select Glass or Ebony in the repair menu. Dunno, tho. Oh, and can you make armor? Like I have Nech Leather and stuff but so far I can only use it for alchemy, can you create armor in this game or not? Thnx.

That paralyzation shortsword I have is glass. It's called the glass jinxer I think. It does look SWEET and it's like glowing green with 200 charges to it. I have enchant as a minor but I haven't tried to use it yet... only read about it.

The thing I did read said he made a weapon do fire/electric damage from soultrapping a rat in a petty gem. I'm guessing he's a noob and did it on his own so I wouls think you just drop u're weapon/armor in and pick the spell/spells that you know already and combine them.

I tried equiping glass and the ebony but my character ate them, and message came on saying that they had no effect. I also have all kinds of hammers and other fixing tools but they do not work with glass or ebony. Maybee I am just doing something wrong. Also does anyone know where I can find some lockpics.

I could be wrong on this but I SWEAR I have used armorer skills on my shortsword and it's glass. U'd think cause it's glass that it'd wear out VERY fast but honestly it wears alot slower than silver does. :D

Glass in Morrowind isn't like glass in the Ulitma series. It functions as a highgrade metal of remarkable durability. I think of it as obsidian--which is, I know, nothing more than black volcanic glass. ;) But at least it makes the stuff seem more exotic, and I feel like I'm less likely to break into a million pieces. :D

Still haven't found a place to actually make glass weapons or armor, though. Logically, blacksmiths should do this, but the ones I've encountered, can't.

 Re: censorship, @Bitex, read the forum rules, at http://www.gamebanshee.com/sitefeatures/forumrules.php The site owner really doesn't want vulgarity or near-vulgarity in posts. In the Ultima series, glass swords were one-shot weapons that delivered 100+ damage. They were perfect for killing things like dragons, but wasted on just about anything else. Great thing to have in your inventory, though. :)

I meant saying Kite of course. Just came out wrong. Sowwyyy :p

In Ultima9, the glass sword looked awesome too. Wonder what it looks like in Morrowind. Been too busy working to play..tsk tsk..
All work and no play makes Bitex a dull boy.

Just FYI it seems that glass and ebony appear randomly in containers near that dwarven compound and inside. It is either glass, ebony, emerald, rubie, diamond, or scrap metal. P.S. I found dwarven made claymore and it is awesome!! This game is god!!
