HELP

I have been playing for 20 game days, and I have yet to figure out how to back stab. Can somebody help me. I have Valygar and Jan. What am I doing wrong?

1. Hide in shadows
2. get behind the person you want to back stab.
3. have the theif attack the person before anyone else.

And offcause - hit the person you're trying to backstab

Also, Valygar's own Corthala Blade doesn't backstab...weird but true, so pick some other katana/weapon.

backstab misses quite often or fails to do multiple damage, so make sure your thief or whatever has a quick weapon to start fighting regularly or is hasted to make a quick getaway.

the katana +2 works very well with valygar
hide in shadows stand behide youre foe and kill! very easy
