Question about enchanting using stolen Soul Gems

Hey, i intend to steal that giant Soul Gem from the Mage Guild as soon as i can. I was wondering if i would need to have the Enchant skill myself in order to use the Soul Gem with any Weapon.
I'm not sure if you give the enchanter NPC an item and a soul gem then he/she combines them or if i would have to do that myself.
Any help is greatly appreciated as i have to decide between Enchant and Illusion for my Dark Ranger theif/archer.

You can not let the enchanter you stole it from do the enchanting but you can go to a different one with no probs. I quit stealing from my guilds just so I wouldnt have this problem with keeping track of what I stole from where

Best bet is always save before you try it, or before you sell, if you are in doubt.

Score, any idea how much using that huge Soul Gem with say a Daedric Longsword or a Glass Longsword? I intend to make as much custom stuff as possible.

You have to pay to have someone Enchant a weapon with your Soul Gem right?
If so any idea how much it'd cost to Enchant a good weapon with a good Soul Gem?
Sorry if i was vague before.

actually the price depends on the spell or spells and the specifics of it or them. I mean the gem only produces the amoun of charges of the item. Each item has a specific amount of enchant points available and each specific part of the enchanting spell (duration, magnitude) counts against it. In other words it could cost 100 drakes to 100,000 drakes

Is that vague enuff?...hehe

oh and just for the record, of all the *common* material types weapons, spears can hold the most enchantments. As far as armor there is no *better* in heavy versus medium versus light. I think the devs had to do that in order to keep some balance in character types.
