Fallen Paladins

If after hell you become a fallen paladin, do you loose all of your previous abilities and if so do you gain any new ones becoming evil.

I/m pretty sure you are just basically busted back down to Fighter. You lose your paladin abilities and that's it.

Actually it is even worse.you lose all your special abilities as a paladin,become a simple fighter and [I m'not sure about this one] continue to raise levels as a paladin
