Ok, I got this early on with some glass boots. Its an amulet with a Destruction enchantment (like drain something) of 100 pts on Self.

Anyone know what it is? Its worth 8K gold and it was deep in some caves. Sorry, but I was just wandering the first 2 days I played this game. I think this was the cave of "red candles" or the one where you have to jump down a waterfall to when you first go in.

I assume the amulet is part of a quest for one of the guilds but I don't know. Any ideas?

you get them off dagoths when you kill em (i have about 8 or 10 now). so i would say it's safe to sell early in the game. i haven't pursued the main quest much so i havent found a use for them. i'll hold onto 1 of them just to be safe.

Actually, I found this one in a chest or laying around next to the glass boots. Anyway, was reading the Summit boards and someone mentioned the 6th house and it dealing with vampires. Makes sense since its a 100 pt drain.

If I could only covert it to be a 100 pt drain on target, I could create my own army of vampires!!!!!!!!!!! Muhahahahaha

Yeah, I think I know which one you have, if it was in a chest with the glass boots. I just got it myself, along with killing the Dagoth in the Ilunibi Caverns (this room also has some really nice gauntlets too). I have two of them, but I have no idea what they are for either, I am sure I can find more, so I will probably end up selling them. If anyone actually knows what they are for, tell us.
