And can't get up again.
They always seem to knock me down.
I get knocked down . . . I could almost write a song . . .

Anyway, many times when I fight people I get knocked down. So while I kneel there, my enemy beats me on the head. It's very frustrating and not good for my health. Is there a way to prevent being knocked down?

I notice it happens more often when my opponent has a two-handed weapon. When I equip MY two-handed weapon, they never get knocked down.

It's a weird thing, any help would be great. Thanks.

It's absolutely normal, when your str will grow up you'll be able to knock'em down too
Keep an eye on your fatigue, if it goes to 0 you'll go down even for a fist in your teeth ...
Try powerfull blows too to knock'em down, don't go berserk while fighting only, hold that mouse button for a couple seconds and then let'em see the stars

The manual says that having a higher agility will help not get knocked down.

I notice as my character has gotten stronger and when I use a high damage weapon that I will knock people down sometimes...it's cool. Hit em when they're down for extra damage

As I recall, one of the races also has a 50% chance of avoiding stun (which is the effect that shows up as being knocked down). It may be the Nord, but I'm not sure at the moment. You could always start up a new character and check 'em out.

Well, you were right. I can knock people down, and it's a good time. Waiting that extra second in certainly worth it.

Can I knock people down with a one handed weapon? I like having the Block skill at my disposal, and only get it working with two-handers.

Yes you can, you need a hi-dmg weapon and lotsa str and anyway stunnin with 1 hand weapons is harder. (Axes and maces works better)
