To fully engage the Cheat mode, first add the following line to your baldur.ini file under [Game Options]:
Cheats=1
Start up the game and enter the following line at the console:
CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys();
Cheat keys like CRTL+Q will work after this.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

That's strange, I've never used the Cheats=1 line for BG2, that was only for BG1, where the Debug Mode=1 line wasn't avaliable.
In BG1, you put Cheats=1 under [Game Options] and then in the game you need to type in CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys() before the CTRL + # will work. But in BG2, all I've been doing is adding in Debug Mode=1 under [Program Options] and the CTRL + # keys work without typing in any further codes.
kerma: Are any of the other functions working? Like the console and CTRL + J, or is it only CTRL + Q that's not working?
