Game Flaws...?????

It seems to me that most of the threads here are about problems with the game! I've never had that problem. The only problem I have is lag, but I am usually running other programs at the same time.

I have a question. At the beginning of the game, if you only have one wizard, how the hell does one identify all of the items? Right now, I just started the game and I went into the Vale of Shadows and I have about 6 items I have to identify! My wizrad in only level 4 so I have 3 slots for one level spells.....I can't just put all of them in Identify. And I really don't want to spend the money to get the identified, so I just hold onto the items until I rest the next time.

This isn't really a question, just a thought...complaint!

Kinda had the same problem. I had a party with 3 fighters, (duelled out to other things at about level 3 or 4), two rangers and a mage. The whole identify thing was kinda irritating. But I guess thats just something u deal with. My strat was to find a safe place to rest and just rest for 8 hours (right click on rest under the inventory menu and select 8 hours), ID 3 things, rest 8 hours etc...... Was slow. (but not as slow as HEALING OMG!!!) See I had no clerics in the party.....

Guess it just shows the ol spell casters have a use other than magic missle.....

(when I finished my day count was around 4000). thats over 10 yeas :P

Yeah - rest repeatedly. Or pay at a temple - 100 gold a time. Or use potions of wisdom and intelligence on your mage/cleric to help boost lore when ID-ing items.

But a Bard is the best option.

That's a very good idea, about using the potions...I never thought about that....I don't usually use them for anything else anyway!

Thanks
