Murder investigation question

If one investigates the murder of meber of Hlaalu House - is there any plain proof against that Velas fellow anywhere besides the servant's evidence to confront Velas with?

As far as I know, there is not. However, after you complete the quest, you are rewarded and everyone thanks you, so I wouldn't worry about it.
