Ok, for those unlucky ones (like me), who didn't get the telekinesis spell effect to work, here is the solution. I found it out by myself after fruitless searching in the forums around.
Telekinesis is targeted on self, right.
It $§&! doesn't work on every item!!!
For example it works on a pillow on one of the bed's in Barlmora Mage Guild, but not on a tourist "Guide to Barlmora", which I dropped on the floor nearby for testing purposes.
If you can manipulate the object by telekinesis is easily found out: If you have telekinesis active on you, and the object is in range of the spell, then one can see the object description box when one holds the crosshair over it (Just as if one is standing next to it). Pick it up normally as if you were standing next to it.
If there is no box, then the object can't be picked up with telekinesis!!
