Tashia won't follow (possible spoiler)

Hi there!
I have Tashia in the party, and though everything was just fine so far, suddenly she stopped following properly my party. I mean, there is something going wrong with her movements. She stays far behind and I need to give her orders step-by-step all the way through
Does anyone know how this can be fixed? (It's the latest version, mind you)
By the way, this started just after killing some guys in the Slum District...
S P O I L E R .........
...where Tashia asked me to protect her from them, for there were sent by her former friend (sorry, I forgot the name). So, I killed them all; Tashia said nothing, not even a simple "Thanks", and a little afterwards this "movement" problem appeared. I know, they are probably irrelevant, but it's better for you to know the details.
TIA
Cheers

Hi
I now the fight you mean. She needs to say something. I can't quite remember what it was. She's has the movement problem because she is trying to initiate dialog, but something is stopping her. I know you need the TOB patch installed.
I guess you could try talking to her.
Sorry i can't be of more help
Thanks

Tashia stuttering
I had this problem but not in the same place and it was because I was using the happy patch by Sabre (a file update fixed the problem). But there are a few suggestions to try on the discussion board at the Tashia web site
http://www3.sympatico.ca/sentinelsx/
if you didn't use the happy patch from Sabre and are just playing normally.
Hope it helps

I haven't installed happy script, and though I've used a saved game to go back and fight the battle again, the problem persists. I have already tried to unistall and re-install Tashia mod, but it didn't seem to work at all.
I'll have a look at Tashia forum and see what else can be done. Thanks!

Well, nothing worked out. As a last resort, I had to disband Tashia and create her anew. But I didn't like it at all, because she came brand new with her rings, robe and boots -- which I have already had. A bit "cheesy", isn't it?
Also: when she joined my party her dialogues started over. I'm wonder if her former friend's friends are going to appear again....

That's it!
Okay. Disbanding and recreating Tashia cause her dialogues start over again. And at some point she said (again!) "Oh, it's them! Protect me... bla bla". Nobody appeared but what matters is that after that Tashia had this stumbling pace -- again.
Last try: unistalling and reinstalling the whole game. If this won't work either, I'm going to leave her enjoy her life way far from my party.

@Aubrey:
Good friend, don't despair and don't let her go, Tashia is the best female romance available, truly!!!
Keep mailing the author instead until he will curse your name and solve your problem!!!

My dear Littiz,
I have already cursed the moment I decided to take Tashia with me. I left her in Copper Coronet and she didn't say a word: she simply couldn't move and come closer
![Roll Eyes ](./images/smilies/)
And when _I_ went closer and talk her, she just asked me if there was something she could do for me (?!)
I had unistalled and reinstalled the whole game twice before I decided to leave Tashia to her own fate. I have installed also:
*Nalia's romance (Not a word out of you!)
*Ascension mod
*Sola mod (Finally I've got the big decision to installed also the improved Mindflyers. Yiak! Yiak!), and
*XP cap remover (this one wasn't installed previously)
Now, do you think the game is going to work or should I be preparing for dealing with scripting problems?
Cheers
P.S. And my current pc is a female Undead Hunter (I thought to get prepared for those nasty improved vampires. Triple *Yiak!*)

Jezs..........Aubrey it seems i got the same problem now.
But it isnt Tashia (although i got her in my party) it is Imoen whos lagging behind. It started in the Underdark.
She walks piece by piece and more often then not she stops walking. So i just have to guide her too the place i want her to be.
GRRRRRRRRR.
Noone has a solution for this??

I seem to recall that the Imoen problem has been discussed before, up here. You might want to do a search on Imoen among thread titles in this forum, and look for something appropriate. I would also suggest posting it over in Bioware's own forum, if that doesn't help.

Occasionally characters can be blinded without showing the icon on their portrait. This will limit the area they can "see" to a small circle, which in turn causes their pathfinding algorithm to stall. You can tell this is happening if when you select the character, the entire room goes into the "fog-of-war" gray.
I believe this can be cured by casting remove curse or something similar on them, but it has been a long time since I heard this discussed and it has never happened to me.

I'm not familiar with Imoen's case, it has never happened to me.
And in Tashia's case the problem was solved as soon as I unistalled and re-installed the whole game, patches and mods, and leaving Tashia's mod to be installed as the very last one.

Can't this be solved by installing the official patches?

Well I solved the problem........although I solved it more by luck then with skill I guess.
This is what I did:
First I just uninstalled everything (SoA, ToB, Mods, everything).
Then I downloaded the official Bioware SoA patch AND ToB patch.
Then I installed SoA, next the SoA patch.......then ToB and the ToB patch.
After that I installed the mods one by one (Deeper Shadows of Amn, Itemupgrade, Easy-v5, Sola, Tashia).
In the beginning Tashia acted weird, but with the sencentce: U look odd Tashia....... eveything was O.K. again.
Imoen ddnt lag behind anymore and i could play as normal

Well I was to early with my conlcusions.........at some point Imoen starts lagging again.
When she got killed one time, she didnt lag (but after some time again)............problem still not solved.
But when I left the Underdark she acted normal again......could it be the area is corrupted??
I have no idea, but I want this problem sloved cause I guess this will happen next time ill play the game again.

Maybe there is some corrupt data or there is some kind of scripts conflict causing it.
I'm sorry I can't help further. Why don't you try to post it in the Technical staff forum. Or, the alternative is to wait for Sojourner to reply. She's is very good at these issues.
