Does anyone have any tips on fighting multiple enemies? I'm fighting the Telvanni agents at the Caldera mind, and I don't stand a chance against all three. I back myself into a corner so I can't get surrounded, but thast doesn't seem to help...

Those guys can be tough if you are not high enough level, but here are a few tips:
This is a major battle for your character so use everything you've got. Chug a Sujamma before the fight, that +50 STR will really help make your shots count. When they start hitting you, drink a restore Health potion - if you haven't used one, you will notice that it makes your health regenerative so it will keep restoring for 10 seconds or whatever depending on the potion. If you can, you should probably use a bound weapon spell or item - the bound weapons in the game are insanely overpowered. If you can't find or cast or afford that stuff at least make sure you have a fresh, well repaired weapon on hand for the fight.
You're on the right track about trying not to get surrounded - what I do is backpedal up that cave as they charge. It seems like it keeps them from all wailing on you at once. I'm not sure what kind of character you're playing, my experience is that this is an almost impossible fight if you are less than fourth level or not a fighter type.
I hope that helps - if you are already doing all this then just wait and level up on other quests and come back to it

Other tactics
I couldn't beat these guys at all until I was level 8-10(can't recall)
I used tactics to kill one upstairs with magic mainly, the others didn't come running like when I used pure melee. Then I killed the one on the lower level, the other 3 remaining did not come.
Then I went into the small room adjacent, in Line of sight of one
in the main room, unloaded some magic, and fought dem at the
doorway, they couldn't all get in to fight me. worked just fine.

Use an area version of the spell "calm humanoid".
You can enchant a weapon with it, too, if you like.

Thanks for all of your help. Regarding enchanting a weapon, how do you do that? Let's say that I wanted to have a fireball explode with each hit of my long sword...How do I do this?
