ON the order of the story, I must confess my poor scouting back on page 40, from the looks of what I've been reading there must be 50 dead drow laying around. Oh, I'll take of the ones levitating. These drow were particularly receptive to magic for the most part. Maybe they forgot to pack their magic resistance. :p

Yes, I noticed that - also we seemed to have had orcs too, not something I pictured - I thought it was just drow at this battle. Oh well! Ysh took out two drow warriors, the other she hit was already dead :)

No-one has remembered the levitating drow though....

Even though we have just taken out half of the standing army of the Drow ( ;) ), what do you all want to do now? We have to meet everyone by Aqua-Chan and I suppose thats it until we go to the Abomination...

I think most of the orcs and extraneous piles of dead drow were a result of Seir's berserker onslaught. Perhaps he found another bunch of them that hadn't been seen before? Or maybe he only *thinks* they are orcs and drow, but he has really be whacking rocks and things?

How common is levitation in the Forgotten Realms??

I really don't see the battle as over yet.

It's quite common. It exists as a mage spell for spell and is an inherent ability to the drow.

LOL Why do people who live underground need to fly?

I can't see that there are any more left to sort out - maybe the levitators have escaped? I think meeting by Aqua-chan is a good idea :)

I had figured that everyone around Aqua-Chan had meant that people had finished fighting, sorry!

**cough**spam**cough**

Why do people who look down on everyone else find an incessant need to question other's actions?

Just had to answer a question with a question.

:D :p

Now, for the real answer. I think levitation would be quite helpful in the underdark. I believe quite often one would reach impassable areas where levitation would assist. Try playing morrowind.

So, does anyone know what is left then? I know we have drow floating around( literally), and they were using crossbows, IIRC....

Finished this battle, for now :) we are in a narrow tunnel, we had a scout relay how many we were to face, then found more...there cannot be any more room here surely! :D

We could have that they have fled to regroup somewhere else?

Well, he is a little preoccupied with 'enemies'... :D

About questions going unanswered, may I quote myself:
These drow (I mean those we face just now) actually follow Lolth and have been sent to investigate. In fact, a group of drow has allied themselves with the Shadow Master, with the approval of the priestesses of Lolth, who thought that they could take a profit of it.

Now, the situation has changed. Some of those following Lolth no longer see any advantage, actually fearing that some of the drow helping the SM, mostly male ones, have fallen off from Lolth and now towards Moander and the SM. Other followers of Lolth don't see any cause for concern. Opposing those, K'Lethya's superior had sent her with the group we meet to investigate.

Whatever happens, K'Lethya is to find out the truth and get back to her superior, whatever the cost. The two assassins she has got with her are for her own protection against the SM, and might even have been used against him, but he was judged to be too strong.

K'Lethya found out that the fears of the Lolth followers were justified, (namely the drow allied with the SM have fallen off from Lolth) and is now trying to hide the fact that she knows this from the SM. She was about to leave his lair to repost to her superior when they stumbled over us.

If she gets back, there'll be soon drow sent against the SM. If she gets not back, her superiors will have no prove that the SM has played them foul and killed the investigators, above all because he may make it look like and accident. Another group would then have to be sent to investigate.
Nobody interested?
Just tell me so then, so I can get rid of K'Lethya who's still mazed by a spell. :) I feel kinda responsible for her. :o

As for the orcs ... let's just say they have been drawn towards the battle by the sound of it. :)

Oh, and I sense that it'll be difficult to keep the spam away from this thread :D

Well, I found my way over with some help (Thanks Ysh. :D ) and am ready to begin my spamming-spree.

Well, I was actually ready to continue the fight. Ya gotta remember, the reason Aqua-chan is even down in the tunnel is to hack up some bad 'ol nasties. :D Afterall, you people have yet to see my fighting techniques. ;)
