What is the best "Deck of Many Things" result? Is it "saving throws lowered?" or "Gained 50,000 exp points"? IYO

I usually go for 'ruin' followed by the one that increases your characters prime attribute.

Depends. Lowering saving throws at that point in the game is fairly pointless, as most high level characters will have saves in the negatives anyway. Raising a prime attribute is very nice, but you can raise all sorts of attributes using Lum the Mad's machine (that is the right name, isn't it?) elsewhere in Watcher's Keep.
My choice for best card in Deck of Many Things: Throne. 1,000,000 XP. Have a nice day. ^_^

is there a list of outcomes?
I had : (did some playing)
300,000 xp
all stats temp up (odd that one - I'd assumed it was permanent)
MR
saving throws lowered
hitpoints added (perm)
finally balance - the end.
how many goes are possible?

I've seen it, here in the forum, before. Unless somebody wants to put it up, again?

There is a list of all outcomes in the Strategy section of the Baldur's Gate II walkthrough, which includes the combinations required to get certain cards.
My favorite one is probably the Star one. Throne is awful once you get to high level abilities as you need to take all of your levels at once, which limits you to choosing each ability once.
