First evil party... looking for tips and ideas!

I've played the game a few times now but never did it with an evil party. So i'm thinking about starting one, and i need some tips.
I already know how my party will be:
Me, a male, NE Kensai/Mage (my fav). Any ideas for a name?
Viconia
Valen, the new, interesting, Vampire NPC. She's a Fighter/Thief multi.
Solaufein, another custom NPC. A drowish Fighter/Mage multi.
A custom Sorcerer (played with Edwin three times already).
A custom Blade (don't even say HearDalis...).

So i don't need party ideas - i want gameplay tips. I want to have fun with this party!
Anyone who played an evil game is welcomed to share his experience.

Make a search on "evil" (titles only) and you'll get more than enough suggestions.

I've tried that already...
Found only info on the evil NPC and possible evil things to do in the game, not gameplay tips :( .

The secret to playing evil is to not be greedy for experience since the evil choices often give less experience...and money.
Maybe evil players should pretend to be good just to get more money.
What you need to do is make up your mind what kind of personality your PC has and then answer accordingly every time a dialogue comes up.

Why don't you like Haerdalis? He is great methinks. Dont forget all those nice resistances he has.

what resistances?!?!
I've heard about'em, but i've played with him twice, and he didn't has not natural resistances!

Oh, and BTW - i don't like him because of his additude, not skills. i actually thinks he's quite... *gasp*... powerful!
And about pretending to be good - NO WAY!!!
As i said, i wanna have fun with this game - so i don't really care about XP. I'll get about the same amount either way - 10% or 20% doesn't bother me. But thnx anyway Bruce  .
Anyway, any other tips?

When I'm evil it's an excuse to kill anything that gets in the way.....including annoying NPC's ;) ....only bad part about that is the lack of XP, and in some cases gold.

True. Lack of gold and XP can be annoying. But that's just one of the challenges of being the most feared villian on the Sword Coast ^_^

In my opinion, just play really dirty like any evil character would do. Hell, rob people blind and such, kill slightly but not really hostile people to get more money. Even if it is just a buck or two.

Pick Pocket, then kill if necessary....or get Cromwell to make all your items...then kill him for his chainmail +3....then sell it

In that case, what do you mean by "gameplay tips"?

I mean things that will help me to enhance playability - things that will help me 'get into' the character. That's why i'm asking advice from anyone who already played an evil game, and can tip me about the stuff he enjoyed in his game  .

It really depends what type of evil you are....Chaotic means much more blood, lawful means a deceitful liar, neutral just means a generally evil person.

Evil parties rule.. I feel justified using cheese with a ne char, not with any other though dunno why

I almost always play ne.... just kill everyone you can get away with killing, pickpoket all steal lie and cheat your way to fortune

Evil chars get some advatage in that they can pretty much kill and loot anyone

Eg... raiding the gaurded compound isnt something a good char would do (though that wont stop the ppl on this forum) but its cool for evil

well thats my 2c

If you've got Nalia in your party, the guarded compund is identified as the slavers' HQ.

With SK change your parties colours into 'diablo red' or 'black' for that 'team' look.

That way poor civilians will scamper out of your way when they see you coming.

I am half way through with an Evil PC. I have found that I have had to actually think about what I do. That would be my main suggestion. Evil isn't dumb. Ask yourself what consequences will there be if I do this? You may want to wait to be truly blood thirsty and cruel as the penalties can be deadly early on. Some of the options while very appealing can also be very hampering... so watch out for them. The rewards of having fun however are enough and thinking about what choices you can get away with can be very entertaining.

Money and Xp is not an issue latter on. I walk around Athkatla killing Cowled wizards and Amnish soldiers all the time. It works out over ten thousand GP and twenty thousand xp an encounter.

Going on a mass killing spree is not advisable early on in the game ie. when you've just got out of the Irenicus dungeon.

My half-orc lost his temper and killed half the Promenade before the Cowled monkeys appeared and killed him in two rounds :o .
