I son't know the game well,
will see it when it comes out.
But if I understand correctly you can create you're own world.

So yould it be possible to create the entire Baldur's Gate Sage???

It is entirely possible, if you want to have possibly one of the largest pieces of work, EVER! :D You could do it, and I imagine you could gather a lot of support. :)

Yep, it could work, but it would take a lot of co-ordination and a bit of skills with programming etc, but the toolset will teach people a lot of the skills needed. :)

But wait! Are there Beholders in NWN!? There must be, otherwise there's no real point to rebuilding BG2!!!

If the NWN Viewer has shown us one thing, you could make your own beholders.

But by golly I hope their in there somewhere also

Everybody would need to have free server space available.
Lets see how much MB the levels are.

if there are no beholders then just make something that looks like them and make them throw out magic at a hell of a rate

i would liek to make suldanesselar (fact is, i live in teh middle of a freakin forest with ds-3 connections that can dload 5MB/s) also i could take my forest home and make the city look like it...

question-when you make your character, is it speciffically JUST a rogue or JUST a wizard or can you modify it to be like a BG assasin or a invoker?

There are no kits in NwN like in BG.
So only JUST a wizard or something.

Though there are no classes, a Wizard CAN specialise in a certain school of magic, but it loses the use of other spells (like BG2). The list below shows the schools restrictions (you can choose on some).

You have to select one of the categories as selection for the Wizard to drop.
  • Abjuration - One of Conjuration, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion or Transmutation or 2. Both Divination and Necromancy.
  • Conjuration - 1. Evocation 2. Two of Abjuration, Enchantment and Illusion. 3. Transmutation 4. Any three schools.
  • Divination - Any other school.
  • Enchantment - 1. Either Abjuration, Conjuration, Evocation, Illusion or Transmutation. 2. Both Divination and Necromancy.
  • Evocation - 1. Conjuration. 2. Any of two of Abjuration, Enchantment and Illusion. 3. Transmutation. 4. Any three schools.
  • Illusion - 1. Abjuration, Conjuration, Enchantment, Evocation or Transmutation. 2. Both Divination and Necromancy.
  • Necromancy - Any other school.
  • Transmutation - 1. Conjuration. 2. Evocation. 3. Any two of Abjuration, Enchantment and Illusion. 4. Any three schools.
