Help with Cernd's quest

Basic thing is, his old aquaintance in Athkatla will not show up. I've tried sleeping, walking back to the Druid Grove and back, but he's a no show. I have completed the Druid Grove quest, however I used Jaheira to challenge. Might this have anything to do with it?
If anyone knows how I can get this guy to spawn (via console or another mean) I would most appreciate the information

I know this will be of piss-all help, but I've only seen the guy turn up in the Docks District. Just a thought.

It does not matter who challenges Faldorn - my PC did. I met his acquaintance in the docks district too, but don't know if there is any criteria for him to show...

Isn't that guy showing up time based? Has Cernd been in your party for very long?

Cernd Quest
For the Cernd Quest you have to take him with you to Waukeen's Promenade. Well that was my understanding ... He ran off to join the Druids and hadn't returned there .. so I doubt anyone is looking for him .. or anyone from Waukeen Promenade will actually turn up at Druid Grove (why would they?).
I did not use Cernd in my party .. But I ws greedy for the xps .. so I took him with me to Waukeen .. just to get that .. and it worked .. as soon as I entered Waukeen .. my old pal greeted me with news .. Quite some xps .. remember to SAVE a lot before deciding anything .. so you can try out the diff options.

Here is something which may help...it seems there's a problem with the quest starting if your pc is of a certain level. Click on cerndfix.zip.
I've never tried it myself though, so you know, be careful, etc.
