Next to the normal weapons, you have the fighting styles.
(2 handed weapon style, 2weapon style, single weapon, sword+shield)
Does any of these have influence on missile weapons?

You'd think 2 handed weapon style would, but I don't think it does.

The better critical hit and AC
And 2weapon style is only efffective with 2* on it or more, while single weapon style is effective with only one star (or without one).
So it's great for characters like thiefes who can only place one P-point.
I had a thief that was using bows, but had single weapon style for a better backstab with his katana

The main advantage with single-weapon style IMHO is the doubled likelihood of getting a critical hit. The +2 AC bonus is nice, but having twice as many critical hits is just too good.

I have to agree,
in that case, could someone calculate what does more damage???
CF->single weapon style (including critac hit's)
Or CF + FoA (or any other weapon)

pretty sure dualwield is better:
in average, u get 1 crit in 20 hits, means the damage of another hit is added (ok not everything is doubled, but most of the dmg). w/ single handed style u get another crit in those 20 hits, resulting in 21/20 of the normal damage (assuming everything except crit miss actually hits). dualwield gives an extra attack, at least 9/7 of the normal damage (w/o dualwield u cannot get above 7/2 except with belm or the like). 9/7 > 21/20.
if we include misses: n := number of hits out of 20 attacks. damage w/ singlehanded is (n+1)/n times of normal damage. extra damage for dualwield stays at 9/7 at least cuz number of attacks increase.
(n+1)/n >= 9/7 for n < 4. (7/2 attacks singlehanded)
(n+1)/n >= 4/3 for n < 4. (3 attacks single)
(n+1)/n >= 7/5 for n < 3. (5/2 attacks)
....
unless the THAC0 is really crappy (with an average of less than 4 hits out of 20 swings), dualwield damage will be more. i did not take into account that the extra hit is dealt with the offhand so it will look slightly better for singlehanded.

The main use of the Single Weapon style, IMO, is for a weak character who normally uses a bow (like Imoen) who is suddenly forced into melee combat. Since you can't equip both a shield and a bow, the better AC compensates when switching temporarilly to a single handed weapon.
(Of course, you could just pause the game and un-equip the bow and equip a shield but that is kind of cheesy as well as being a big hassle.)

So does two handed weapon proficiencies increase the speed of a long bow,
Or does single handed style increse you AC and Critical hits if you are only holding a ranged weapon.
And does using a shield and ranged weopn still give the AC bonus if you have S/shield proficiencies.

nope

i think it is only when holding a meele weapon
And does using a shield and ranged weopn still give the AC bonus if you have S/shield proficiencies.
i take it you mean sling or dart because you can't have a shield and bow or Xbow and i have no idea sorry

single-weapon proficiency is great in theory but many enemies wear helmets, and there are a lot of cheesy enemies that have invisible nondroppable helmets that prevent critical hits...
