Question about Haer'Dalis and Aerie romance in TOB

May have some minor spoilers.
I know that these two have a romance in BG2, but what happens in TOB? I heard that they break up somewhere around Saradush, but that could be wrong. Also, I thought it would be cool to have a Tiefling for a character (it's possible w/ shadowkeeper), but to stay true to the whole RPG element of creature/race lore, I'm not sure I should b/c I don't know if Tieflings can reproduce (you get Aerie pregnant if your character is male and you're romancing her, I think this is regardless of race). I know that Half-Elfs and Half-Orcs can't reproduce (explaining why Jaheira and Khalid never had kids), but I'm not sure Tieflings can. As you can see, I like to follow core AD&D rules down to the very last wire (I'm not a powergamer). Also, I keep reading about Ascension, and I need some clarification; is that when you opt to become a god after you beat Mellisan? If so, who do you have to fight? Thanx for your help in advance.

Yes, Aerie and Haer'Dalis do break up, somewhere around Saradush - highlight if you want more specific info:
They break up after you've killed Yaga Shura, the whole destrcution thing appeals to Haer'Dalis while Aerie hates it
Ascension is an unofficial Mod, created by David Gaider - one of the programers from BioWare - it changes the ending of ToB, adding more interesting and difficult fights etc. It have been converted to WeiDU format by Westley Weimer - mostly for compatibility and installation benefits, since the original requires that you copy the file to the Override folder manually. You can read more about it
here.

Exalted Member is just a title that you get after you have posted 50 posts. There's nothing special about it.
As for the romance stuff - ToB offers continuation to the romances that you have in SoA. However, you'll need to have completed - or near complete - the romance in SoA for it to conitnue in ToB.

Thanks. What if the romance was a bit stuffed up in SOA (i said some bad things) does it continue, or stop? My party doesn't even talk to me anymore.

If the romance end badly in SoA, it will not continue in ToB.

I'm pretty sure at least Half-Elves can have kids in the Forgotten Realms. Where did you get that info from? And it could very well be the case that Khalid and Jaheira never
wanted to have kids...

I heard somewhere on this forum that Half bred races can't reproduce, and I'm wondering if it's the same with Tieflings b/c they are part fiend.

Tieflings are mainly humans with some trace of demonic blood in their ancestry--it could be several generations back, which clearly means they can reproduce. Same thing goes for their opposites who possess traces of angelic blood.

Oh my, I've even started quoting myself now...
Finally found the info I've been looking for. Straight out from the 3rd Edition Forgotten Realms supplement:
"Half-elves may mate and breed, but will always reproduce the offspring of the other parent (a half-elf/elf pairing will produce elven children, while a half-elf/human pairing will result in human children). Second generation half-elves only result if two half-elves marry."
