Can anyone help me!
I need names!
Names!
(Not that I am being racist, I hate racists, but I'll have to refer to them as that) Of white blues music artists?

The Blues Brothers; sure they started out as a joke for Saturday Night Live!, but they were actually pretty good.

How about Eric Clapton.

I've heard Jack Teagarden belt out a good blues on records, but of course, that was more of a jazz-blues. And Led Zeppelin was founded on the idea of taking common blues riffs and slowing them down greatly.

Hmmm...would George Thorogood (sp?) qualify?

@Fable: Yep to Led Zep. Jimmy Page made the "power riff" famous by doing just that. I also think he was chiefly responsible for the transmogrification of blues-influenced riffs into the "heavy metal" of the 80's. (not to wander too far off topic. )

SRV Baby!! Stevie Ray Vaughn
Slowhand!! Eric Clapton

Both technically perfect and woefully soulful.
