Dualclassing at 18:a bad idea?

I just started a Kensai in ToB, but that means he is lvl 18 already...
Would dualclassing now make any sense?

I don't think so but I'm sure lots of people disagree with me. Couldn't you start a character in SoA, edit him up to say level 9, dual and then import him into ToB?
