ok...so I decided to go with the good ole wizard...you may ask why?...well I loved it in BgII, and still do. I am a Necromaner. But having frustrations...now i know im a wizard and know how the story goes...stay back lets the tanks get hit for the damage, just that im getting a bit bored...most of the time im at the back and well its not the greatest. I know thats what comes with taking the role of the wizard, am I expecting too much? I know later i'll be havign fun. Anyhoo. got some questions. What do you guys think of my attributes? I never thought in dept about them, looked over some tables and here they are.

Str 10
Dex 12
Con 12
Wis 10
Int 18
Cha 10

dunno, and when i got that extra attribute at arond level 3 or 4 i boostes Int up to 19. What does everyone think. Im sure there are many errors, flame away.

I got the feeling your int is too high. Keep in mind, this is the 34rd editin rules. If you settle for an int of 16 (which will allow you to increase it afterwards to 18-19) you can get better dex and con (14 would be nice) which will keep you alive. Well, that's waht I think.

for starting characters I agree with Wyvern - a starting intelligence of 18 is imo to high and the points down to 15 or 16 (depending on choice - I always go for 15 in prime statistic) could be used better (dex. and/or con.).
Otherwise it seems to be pretty balanced - no stats giving you negative modifiers at start.

It really is a matter of personal taste.

As an example here is one of the chars (sorcerer) I plan on playing multiplayer NwN with:
Str: 08
Dex: 16
Con: 14
Int: 12
Wis: 10
Cha: 15

My chars low strenght will be a problem, but I am roleplaying a weakling with low wisdom (the bio even mentions this )
