Would you mind not putting spoiler information (identifying the contents of a quest) inside the very title of a thread? It's bad enough when people put spoilers inside threads without identifying what's coming up, first. In this case, we have no choice but to read the hint as we scan for topics.

i'm sorry if i up set someone but i do not see this as aspoiler. yes an answer could be called a spoiler, which i am looking for. i.e. help with the game.

If your not a power gamer you might want to try ....
Taunting the gaurds/retainers near where the prisoner is kept before you spring him. This will cut down on the chances of getting the kid killed when you make your escape.

do not try to get at hostage if (SPOILER)

they cannot see you (Amulet of Shadows in my case). The prisoner folows you nonetheless if you put on the Chameleon after you've led him out of the room he's been imprisoned.
My char. just hate to shed unnecessary blood
do not try to get at hostage if (SPOILER)
