I am trying to do the mage guild quests in chapter one - first you gather four ingredients from the mage labs in each district, then the second quest is to defeat some crazy robot - I can't do it Does anyone know the good trick to defeating this thing? I can't get away from it and it hits me for major damage on every shot. I can barely damage it at all.

Remember, when you were recovering the ingredients, she said 'mark well the order?' Well, you just have to take all the wands in the place and use them in the order she mentioned the ingredients (earth, water, air, fire, if you can't remember) on the construct. He'll just sit on his butt as long as you dont harm him except with the wands, and your henchmen don't attack him... for which you should dump them all outside the portal. And yes, even though it seems bizzare, you should even use the stoneskin on the construct. If you get any of the wand's order's wrong he will attack as well.
