Spoiler: where can I find diamonds?

I am about to finish chapter one and have yet to find any diamonds. My Paladin specialized in 1h longsword and shield so I want a better longsword than the standard +1 . The smith in neverwinter has a recipe for a magic longsword that requires a diamond. So I would appreciate if someone could tell me where they are, and perhaps if that longsword is worth it.

Ok, I know I got a diamond somewhere in chapter one, but I can't remember where....sorry. My style of play is to do every quest, clear every room, kill every monster, and loot anything that is lootable, so I can't narrow it down very much.

If i remember correctly that woman in blacklake gives you a diamond if you persuade her after taking the warehouse key but not killing meldanen.

As I recall, the Madame who owns the bordello/tavern in the Core will provide a diamond on top of the regular payment for the three stolen items--if you can successfully persuade her.

Aye basement of Sneaky something in the docks. Also just for the record, there is a merchant there by the square by the guy who burned down his house who sells any part of the armor or weapon you need to use at forge i.e. magical. I thought it odd that you had to rely on total loot pickups to use the forge but now I see you can make any of the pieces you want. Hehe, being the curious type who keeps track of everything, I made almost every forged piece possible just so I would know.

yes, in the docks. I mean the merchant who carrys all the plus armor and weapons is in the docks. The forge is in the core at the Shiny Armor Place (hehe not the true name but close).

I forget what chapter it is, but when your looking for the words of power, and your in the creator ruins, there is a woman asks you to go back 10,000 years in time to plant some seeds for her, and when you return you'll have to remind her that she promised you a reward, i dont know if it's random items, but she gave me 2 diamonds for it.
