Where is my ambidexterity feat?

Aren't rangers supposed to get ambidexterity and dual wield feats as class bonus at level 1? However, my ranger only has dual wield, and missing ambidex feat.
Unless it's another manual mistake.

I don't have NWN(yet), but under the D&D3 rules, when rangers are wearing light or no armour, they can weild two weapons as if they had the ambidexterity and two-weapon fighting feats, but they do not actually get the feats. They lose this feature if they put on medium or heavy armour.

U also (still) need 15+ dex to get the ambidexterity feat.

Ranger get a feat called Dual wield, it contains both skills. (Two weapon fighting, Ambidexterity).

Thanks. That answers the question. Dual wield's description does say it's both two weapon and ambi. I should have checked it more carefully. :D

Only 1 thing wrong with the ranger dual wield...you can't get the upgrade till level 9, whereas if you were a fighter you could buy all 3 at an earlier level. Even if you multiclass ranger/fighter, the dual wield doesn't actually count towards the last upgrade. You still won't get improved 2-weapon fighting till 9 unless you buy the first 2.

If you want to play the ranger and get all three skills, get the trounament of champions mod. It's an offical one, so you should be able to download from the main site. Load your new char into there before you start the game. Talk to the counselors and you'll get pumped up the lvl 10 automatically. Now just lvl up your guy and you can export/save him, then just start the game with your lvl 10 ranger.... yeah it's kinda cheating. Also, if you go into the portal after you're lvl 10 while in the mod, you will get a lot of money and can buy some nice starting gear...or just one or two really really good ones that will last you through the game.

Kinda cheating???? More like out and out spoiling the whole game but to each his own. I never have understood why some people are always looking for the loophole or shortcut. Seems to me its a quick way for the game to hit the dustbin. Heck I want my moneys worth and using some hack, cheat, or exploit would only make the game too easy thence boring. I mean I can climb the mountain or hire a helicopter to take me to the top. The whole essense of an adventure is the struggle to the goal, not the goal itself. This is especially true with rpg's. But as I said, to each his own.

Yeah, cheats ruined POR for me... I was curious about what higher level spells were going to be like. I started pumping up my level, and then realized there was a level limit... and was dissapointed. I realized my monk will always suck. My Sorc was always going to be limited to lower level spells... game lost all sense of fun for me.
