if it is/was in either mount kand cavern or ASSU i think i have hand it. i have cleaned both out and can't find it in my inventory. any ideas or help??

This is my return to the forum! Ive been gone for quite a while and Im sure no one remembers me from the Baldurs Gate threads. Well I am here because I desperately need help with this quest aswell. I cant find the bloody staff! Help would be much appreciated!

its just north of the mt kand cavern,

did you use the ring of detection like they suggested???

cast ring, them right click to map view, even if its still under fog of war, you should see a blue circle...

or just if you get too frustrated...

player->additem"silver staff of shaming"

im pretty sure that is the item code, you should look up in tes...

I used the ring before but nothing appeared on my map. Ive gone through the game once and this quest (with my second character) seems to be the one that was the most frustrating.

Regardless-Im going to search for that ring next time I play for the character using your suggestions.

tybaltus: there is an old saying "go west young man" try it and then use your ring.

You know what the funniest thing about this confusion was? Well you guys are going to think I am a moron because as it turns out-I had the silver staff of shaming all along. I must have picked it up when I was half asleep.
