I was exploring the Sheogorad region when I stumbled across a place called Ald Renaiya (?) I found the Bittercup. Do I drink from it to fortify my best attribute and lessen my worst, and thus destroy it; or is it connected with some later quest? It's worth 100k gold but I can't find anyone with the sort of money required to buy it! Got a nice vampire ring from a skeleton war wizard guarding the thing too. That's worth a further 32k! Not a bad day's work.

No,don't drink it. If you were able to get it your highest skill should be around 100,and the cup won't boost it past 100. It's also needed for a thieve's guild quest,so if you want to finish 100% of the game you should hang onto it.
