weapon finesse -bastard sword ?!

i have a question :
can i use weapon finesse with a bastard sword ?!

yes

weapon finesse simply lets your character use their Dex skill rather than strength when calculating *to hit* rolls. u can use this with any weapon

Wrong!! look at page 98 of the manual. Weapon finesse does not work with bastard sword.

Wrong Mortician. Reread the description for Weapon finesse. It includes a list of weapons it applies to and the Bastard Sword most definitely isnt one of them. Basically it applies to all small weapons and the rapier.
