i got out of the castle in charwood and when i did i realized that i forgot to summon belial. what happens when you summon belial? does it change anything? do you get any rare weapons in the game? i am a sorcerer, so does she give you any good sorc stuff?
ps. i just wanted to say that it was cool to see the town all full of demons when you choose the bad guy during judgement.

You can get a good staff (through persuasion), but that's about it. I don't think getting his testimony changes anything; it just tells you what really happened, which Lathander's story after the judgement tells you anyway.

SPOILERS ahead...
I was offered two choices. "A magical item" or "the greatest magical item....EVER" The latter got me a cheapo Robe of Fire Resistence (15). The first choice crashed the game for me. I asked for a testimonial instead, since I'm a fighter.
During the judgement, I just offered that both brothers were innocent, and when prompted, I offered Beliel's testimonial. This would open up a choice for you to receive the ?phylactery?. Which is a potion of some sort that needs to be IDed. Beliel will be happy, but the town would be freed. OR you can choose to have the Guardian guard the phylactery forever, Beliel would be very POed, the Guardian would be sad, and the town would be trapped forever.

I think the Great magic item ever is a little joke from Bioware. A Demon Lord of Fire gives you a Cloak of Fire Resistance? I mean come on.
