The Game is telling me when I go to pick up this document that it's sealed, and to unseal it drop it on my character?? drop it on my character? does anyone know how to unseal the package

OK-to "drop onto your character" means to go into your inventory screen and drag the item you want over to your character's picture.

I dont understand how im supposed to do that on the Xbox version. Does anyone know?

theres no way to drag anything in the xbox version, and I need to open this package to pass the mission I stopped playing the game for a few days just because I cant open this stupid packages, I've tried everything

Man, I feel sorry for you. I cant help you because I dont have the X-box.

My first suggestion: Use the sealed package like you were trying to equip armor-except use the sealed package instead.

well thats what ive been trying, I get nothing it just makes the little clicking noise and nothing happens.

hmmmm. You sure that the sealed document is selected?

Lets see-is there someway you could double click on the item?

Or you could drop the item and pick it up again-some items have options for you when you pick them up-like the bittercup

when you go to pick it up it says:

A.This document is sealed, to break the seal drop the item on your character

B.OK

thats it, and I've tried every possible thing using common sense that would open this document but nothing will work.

I play on XBox too, I haven't had a sealed package yet, but have you tried marking it with your cursor and hitting the "A" buton to see if a content window pops up....like with a box or chest?......Where did you find this package and I will work on it tonight whe I get home.

Just had Idea.....
Try picking the item up, go to your inventory and 'A' click the item to equip it from your inventory,...Like when you read your books...
That seems to corrolate with the PC version of dragging and droping the other guys talk about.........
Let me know if this works........

no matter what when you push A to pick it up nothing happens, just the clicking noise and nothing. The package is located in the House Hlaalu canton in Vivec in the Records storage area its in a box on a shelf called "Ascadian Land Deeds" watch out because when you take it from the box the people in the room will attack you, so just kill them or run out. you dont get a bounty on your head if you're working on the mission but if you arent you might get one.
