Just for the sake of embarrasing myself further, i challenge a person at a time to come up with a subject, any subject and i will talk about it, the idea being whether it is discernable that i actually know anything about that subject or are merely blagging it and giving you a load of nonesense.

Obviously there will be many subjects i don't know anything about, i endeavour to answer within a day.

Okay, i assume you are talking about the gear ratio's, i would further assume it is similar to the system used in cars and that it modulates the acceleration and top speed of the vehicle in question. With a bit of mild tweaking one can change the point at which a vehicle is most stable in a gear. Need any more convincing?

Okay, well the smile is generally a gesture used to evoke a feeling of happiness or jubilation. It is a behavioural characteristic of humans that when greeted with a happy event they will smile.

By extenstion of this in the online world the is used to display happiness and possibly laughing at a certain subject. Used in conjunction with other smilies it can display many different kinds of emotion from bullying through to concern.

By means of example "I thought you were my friend! " this states a moment of increduosity at that person but at the same time is poking fun, without the use of it wouldn't automatically be known what the individual was trying to emote.

That is a Ford Mustang, a car synonymous with the 1970's and the time before the human race knew what an ozone layer was. The meaty and powerful V8 engine was used primarily by the consumer however occasionally this car would find it's way into movies, for instance Bullit, a movie best known for a stupendous car chase. That film displays many of the qualities which make this one of the most disirable cars in existence.

I heard about that movie, I'd like to see the chase someday, the chase is supposed to be very good.

Definately worth it, it is also a really good film, although it is quite claustraphobically directed. It is probably the opposite end of the spectrum from a John Williams scored movie

Would you please settle a debate for some friends and I: We are arguing about the greatest single season team in the history of the National Football League since the merger. One of my friends claims it's the 1985 Chicago Bears, another says it's the 1972 Miami Dolphins and I say it's the 1974 Pittsburgh Steelers. Who's right?

Personally i would say the greatest single season in the history of the National Football League would probably be the 1972 Miami Dolphins, for pure determination they are unmatched and lets face it they are the innovators of the "Great season" the others just followed suit.

The Bears for instance stole a great deal of their tactical play from previous seasons and are also not exactly against the odd rough game. The Pittsburgh stealers, well what can i say they are certainly close but their capitalising on opportunities wasn't close to the Dolphins and their forward thinking.

@Sleep, how do you think Norton bikes were allowed to race against more conventional models when a race qualification is gauged generally by cc's and not capable speed. Do you think Norton received a respective bye, or do you think they were allowed a quarter mile straight dash to prove competitiveness?

Personally i would presume they recieved a bye, it wouldn't be outside of their tactics to provide "financial support" to the organising body and lets face it the organising body in question aren't exactly the most unscroupulus bunch. It isn't the first time that big money has prompted some of the more dirty scandals, they probably covered this one up but it would be an interesting ivestigation.

How could they disguise a rotary engine though? also re funding, I think there must have been a secret source since it is common knowledge that Norton have never been financially strong...I wonder whether Anderson Consulting had done their auditing?

It's not that difficult, same as you diguise a faster engine on a smaller chassis, it's all about appearance and making the right impression.

Maybe they should have found a more reliable person to do their finances ( ) You never know where the money may have come from, these big companies have expenses and income everywhere.
