Argh...A bug?

Ok, I have a 'slight' problem...

I 'used' to have 3 magical containers, each carrying things like magical ingredients (dragon's blood, adamandite, et c) and some rare items (belts of xxx giants, Shadow Legion Armor, et c).

Then at the beginning of Chapter 3, I found a corpse just outside the camp, where I found a bag of holding (-100% weight). I proceed to put stuff in to that bag, including those 3 containers I mentioned earlier, with a longsword that does 1-6 cold damage. Then I did a quicksave. I was happy to see the total inventory weight dropping, but then I noticed some of my quickslots gone blank...Surprised, I chekced my inventory, checked my bag of holding...and...Nothing there :( I was hoping to recover it somehow, hoping that there has been a minor glitch and I could get the things back, but no luck...Are there anyone else who have had a similar problem? I don't mind so much about losing those armours and such, but it pains me to think that I've lost all those ingredients like fairy dust, iron wood, gargoyle skull etc, that I've been collecting since the first chapter... :(

I am surprised it let you do it. If you put a bag of holding inside a bag of holding it gets destoryed. Something to do with an extra demisioal space inside an extra deminsioal space.

ehm, not another bag of holding - separate magical boxes and bags, that do -20, -40% weight reduction.

but dunno why my swords went poof as well...it was put in the bag separate from other containers.

Well the magic bags are like mini-bags of holding. Same concept applies.

Yeah, I sawe what you meant, after i posted that 2nd reply...Dang, I should've remembered this from BG2...I think I had a similar problem, trying to be smart by putting a bag into another, hehe. Luckily that I've jsut started the 3rd chapter....I guess I'll find better stuff to replace the lost goods :) Thanks for the advice, Datt :)
