(now remember i've only played for 2 days) but i'm stuck in redoran in vivec, I cant get back to foreign quarter to hop a silt strider. I'm on the pathway on waistworks, and i can get to other sections but not foreign quarter! help!

I'm not entirely sure about this because I haven't played morrowind for about a month, but if I remember correctly there is no direct route from rador to foreign quarters (unless you can fly), so you need to go to another canton (Arena maybe) and from there walk over to Foreign quarters. But as I said I'm not entirely sure.

when i left foreign I came up in redoran, and I can see the bridge on the next level down, i just cant get there...i feel so dumb lol

just run around you should find a ramp going down, remember this game is all about exploring so......... explore.

Vivic is quite a complicated city. Dont worry, I got lost when I first arrived there. Youre inside the waistworks? You want to get outside. Do everything you can outside the waistworks. Its less complicated that way. Try as many doors as you can. The higher you are, the better off you are (atleast inside). So if you are inside the waistworks-find up staircases nad doors on the higher level and you should be in good shape eventually. Trial and error is the best way to learn your way around Vivec.

If you've got the last level above the water, look for botman, it's most easy way to travel between cantons. Not all have them, though. I used to get lost every time at the beginings. Ther's a catch, though - the Temple. Learn your way from High Fane and then use Almasivi Intervention any time you've gone astray. Or put the Mark somewhere..

a levitate spell or device is the best way to get around vivic

if you hate going up and down the ramps
alternatively you can walk off the ledge on the side of the boatman and viola.But remember to walk off don't jump off.
although this is just a lazy way to travel.Otherwise in Vivec you can usually level-up on your acrobatics and atheletics

about three hours after i posetd this i decided just to jump to level below me, I dyed the first time, but the second time i made it fine. thanks for the help, i havnt gone back to vivec yet
